In February 2018, we will launch a new joint field research project– PaleoAsia×ModAgrO under MoU between NPO-Japanese Centre for South Asian Cultural Heritage (JCSACH: Japan), Pompeu Fabra University (UPF: Spain), Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU: Pakistan) and Center for Documentation and Conservation of the Heritage of Sindh, Endowment Fund Trust for Preservation of the Heritage of Sindh (CDC-EFT: Pakistan). The project aims on long-term human-environment interaction through Palaeolithic to Bronze Age, especially on the emergence of modern human and on the origin of agricultural society in northern Sindh between the Indus Plain and the Thar Desert. Researchers from various institutes, such as JCSACH/ The University of Tokyo, Nagoya University, UPF, SALU, CDC-EFT, as well as The University of Milan will take part in the project.
2018年2月、シンド州北部におけるあらたな考古学総合調査プロジェクトを開始します。本プロジェクトは2017年5月に、NPO南アジア文化遺産センター、ポンペウ・ファブラ大学（スペイン）、シャー・アブドゥル・ラティーフ大学（パキスタン）、シンド文化遺産保護信託基金記録・保存修復センター（パキスタン）の間で締結されたMoUにもとづくもので、4機関・組織のほか、名古屋大学、ミラノ大学などの研究者も参加する予定です。本プロジェクトでは、シンド州北部のインダス平原～タール砂漠における、現生人類の出現および農耕社会の起源を中心に、長期的な人類と環境の相互関係を探究します。
